What to compare
- Whether the quote includes tear-off, disposal, and damaged decking allowances
- Material type, manufacturer, color, and expected warranty coverage
- Ventilation, flashing, drip edge, ice barrier, and permit requirements
- Payment schedule, project timing, cleanup, and property protection
Questions to ask
- How will hidden decking damage be priced if discovered?
- Who handles permits and local code requirements?
- What workmanship warranty is separate from product warranty?
- Can you review recent local references and proof of insurance?
